2010 Elections - It's About Jobs!

Leaders we elect this year will make decisions impacting Oklahoma companies' ability to compete and grow. This affects all of us -- our jobs, our economy, and our families' future.

In June, Oklahoma's Prosperity Project will survey the candidates for Governor and other statewide races, Congress and State Legislature. We'll ask them about economic issues that will grow our state, so you can go to the polls informed.

The Prosperity Project is a free, nonpartisan election education service. It does not endorse candidates. It does not tell you how to vote. That important decision is up to you.

State Legislature starts TODAY:
3,086 bills proposed

Oklahoma's Senators and Representatives have their work cut out for them as the 2010 state Legislative Session convenes today.

Top of their agenda is funding state agencies and services in light of the economic crunch, with $1.3 billion less to spend than last year.
